MYHOO is the first solo project of Frank Doherty (Singer/Songwriter/Musician) who is a founder-member of the popular Irish Trad band BLARNEY
Who? What? When? Where? Frank has been singing and playing guitar practically all of his life but in the last three years he has been playing with BLARNEY round the South-East of England. MYHOO is a bit of a musical departure from the more orthodox approach to Irish Music as presented by BLARNEY In this latest project, Frank reveals another side of his musical character, namely his passion for Hot Club Swing in general and fiddle-playing in particular. By the power of prayer and the miracle of modern technology, Frank has produced backing tracks which capture the flavour of Hot Club Swing in support of his own interpretation of Classic Traditional Irish Tunes. The result is a pulsating fusion of rhythm and melody which you can sample by downloading and listening to the MP3s !!!
